Handcrafted Dovetail Log Homes
White Pine milled to 8" thick (R12) or our giant 10" (R15) thick option. Native White Oak is available for these wall logs for the discriminating buyer.
White Oak was the most predominant wood for Appalachian Log Homes.
Handcrafted Round Log Homes
Two styles are available for Round Log
Homes.
Round Log "Chink": Where the logs are hand Notched but intentionally a gap is left for synthetic chinking.
Round Log Full Scribe: Where the logs are hand notched along the entire length with no chinking needed.
Handcrafted Heavy Timber Framing
This style of building is the most flexible "design wise". We use either square beams or full round logs for the supports which are left exposed in the home. All domestic species available: pine, oak and cherry to name a few.
